Penang 14/8/2013-16/8/2013

I went to Penang with my friends during this school holidays! I was so excited as it was my first time visit to Penang and it might be our last trip as well before everyone leave to further their studies. Yeahhh at last we managed to make a trip and made it as one of our precious memories between our friendship! So sorry for those who couldn't join us but it's okay maybe we can make another trip after a few years! HAHA! Looking forward for that day :D

We went to Penang by train and ferry. After we overnight on the train, we arrived at Butterworth at 5.30am on 14th of Aug! What a cool experience to overnight on a train! HAHA! The bed is quite small, for those who are taller than me might be very tough for them to sleep haha! Anyway, it's awesome to overnight with friends on a train! On that night, all of us like can't sleep and kept on chit-chating haha!
After that we went to Penang by ferry!!! Woohooo! It was my first time taking ferry too! haha! So many first time in this trip!

On the first day, we decided to walk around the historical/heritage site of Georgetown after we had had our dimsum as our breakfast! On this day, we just walked walked walked and walked.... It was really tired!!!! But thank God for giving us a good weather instead of rainy day on this day or else we couldn't walk and see through all the historical site liao!

On the second day, we rented a van which could fit in 10 of us and headed to Penang Hill in the morning! When I stepped out of the train/lift I could feel the fresh and cool air of the Penang Hill!!! The scenes on Penang Hill are so beautiful and amazing! :D There is a sentence written like this : " You have never been to Penang unless you have been to Penang Hill!" Wahaha! Yeahhh I am glad that I have been to Penang!!!
After that, we went to Kek Lok Si which is a famous chinese temple in Penang! I think it's quite near to Penang Hill because every suggested schedule on the internet say that after Penang Hill then next must be Kek Lok Si or vice versa! Climbing to the top of Kek Lok Si was so tired, so I suggested you to drive to the top of it! LOL
After visiting all the temples including Myanmar and Thailand temples, Batu Ferringhi was our next station. We went to the beach there! The waves of the beach there are quite high/big that we never seen before @@ After a few minutes we only knew what's happening - It's gonna RAIN! LOL! Thank God we still managed to take some photos at there as a proof that we had been to Batu Ferringhi! We waited in the rain for a few minutes but it didn't stop so we decided to leave the place and head to Gurney Drive which is a place full of hawker stalls!!! Wooohoooo!! There are many different kinds of FOOD here!!
After we finished our dinner, we went back to our apartment! On this night, we had crazy, happy, funny and also sad moments!!! haha! Due to Nicole and Spinifex are leaving to the other countries, so we decided to make a farewell party on that night! The preparation was kind of at sixes and sevens(亂七八糟)!!! And when we carried out our surprise, at first it was quite smooth and the surrounding feeling was correct but after a while the second surprise turned into funny moment!! haha!! But it's okay at least it was an unforgettable moment for us :D

On the third day, most of us overslept in the morning and almost late to carry on our schedule!! But we didn't visit any places today, just went back to a shop to buy some souvenirs back and back to the Chew Jetty to take a photo. After having lunch in Perangin Mall, we took a bus back to Rawang. That's all for our happy trip ^^
